{ Cousins Session Sneak Peek }

Posting a couple now because I know that the Gran and moms are eager to see! Yesterday I had a fall cousins session with our neighbors and their cousins. I also got to try out a new location I had scouted a year ago. And its right around the corner from our house! Love that. Anyways here is your sneak peek. More to come later!

{ Happy Fall Ya’ll }

I have been attempting to take my kidlets fall portraits this afternoon. As you can see I get all sorts of interesting shots when working with my two. I fell in love with this particular shot even though its not very technically great, and even though this was not my original prop set up… (my little blessings kept sabotaging it.) I will be attempting more portraits later once naps are finished up and my hubby is home to assist. But in regards to this picture, I am sure that Avery can think of no better way to celebrate the first day of Autumn than with a smoosh from her big brother! :0)

{ Dandelion }

Blowing a dandelion and watching it fly… just one of life’s little pleasures.

{ My Coastie }

Meet my hubby. He’s broken. He lost an uphill battle with his 4wheeler. Quite literally. (Or, wait! Maybe he lost the downhill battle… he did flip it BACKWARD down the embankment. You decide which battle he lost. I’ll let him know which one he won. Hahaha!) Two broken ribs and a trip to the ER complete with an overnight hospitalization in Luverne, AL. (Goodluck finding that on a map!) Our Labor day weekend camping trip to the ATV park with friends didn’t turn out quite as planned. It took the paramedics 1 hour and 20 minutes to get him off the trails once they got to him. Then he attempted to convince them that he did not need to go to the hospital. Men. In a park full of thousands of 4wheeler riding folks, the first time that the paramedics were required all weekend was for my husband… the nationally certified EMT, I might add. He seems to be feeling a bit better. Definitely ornery as ever so he must be on the up and up! The following pic is courtesy of my good friend Tina. Thanks girl for the picture. You were there with your camera when I was wishing I had mine! You saved the day for this memory-capturing-obsessed gal! Glad to know you always have my back!

Broken ribs can’t stop him from goofing off for the camera!
