{ Kayla Belle }

Meet little miss Kayla! I had the pleasure of photographing her at 12 days old! She was so sweet and hardly made a peep our entire session. Her big brother Logan goes to school with my littleman and I first met her family at preschool orientation night. We sat at the same table and just happened to have the whole military lifestyle in common! It’s an instant bonding apparatus. Kayla’s Daddy is going through flight school here and it won’t be much longer before he graduates and they move on to greener pastures!

Kathy and Norman, thanks for letting me get my hands on your baby girl! I hope these portraits become memories you treasure as you watch her and Logan grow!

For the next three images I tried some new processing and well, I am a work in progress! I’ve been a longtime admirer of lilyblue actions and photographers who have perfected their usage in their workflow. My friend Summer is one of these photographers that has mastered them and with a little help from her I hope to get the processing technique just right! Also check out my cute new newborn prop! She’s all snuggled up in it! It’s even more beautiful in person! And I absolutely ADORE how her toes are peeking out through the weave in the last two of this series!

{ Sweet Girl }

My first ever digital painting. It was a lot of fun to do and I think I like the results. I hope mom and grandma love it. Just another shot of baby Erin!

{ Sugar and Spice }

Raise your hand if you have baby fever! (You can’t see this but I am holding mine up over my head and wildly waiving it back and forth just like the kids in my sons preschool class who are begging the teacher to call on them as they sit squirming on the ABC carpet!) I believe you too will have a serious case of it when finished looking at this sweet baby girl! Good luck warding it off!

I had the delightful opportunity to photograph 5 week-old baby Erin. Her parents have tried and waited for a very very long time to become parents and finally after a healthy pregnancy their little miracle was born. I think God knew Erin was going to be the perfect one and well worth the wait and trials and tribulations they have endured! You have never seen two parents more doting of their child! The intense love they have for her just flows from them! And Grandma Terry, she has been patiently waiting to hold the “Grandma” title for so long! I was so pleased she joined us for the session! Baby Erin is very lucky to have Ms. Terry for a Grandma! I have seen her in action with my kids so I know she and Erin will have a very special relationship! Thank you Tommy and Julie for allowing me to capture your baby girl in all of her fresh newness! She is beautiful! Enjoy your sneak peek!
