{ Coastie Brat on Board! Sneak peek!}| Milton FL Maternity Photographer

I had the great pleasure of photographing the very sweet Sheree and Mark. They are first time expecting parents and it was such a joy to watch them interact and to see the anticipation written on their faces. They are so ready to meet their baby girl, and dive into all the adventures that parenthood brings. It also just so happens that we are family… Coast Guard family, that is. Mark worked with my hubby at Station Pensacola. Go Coast Guard! :)

Sheree and Mark, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these special memories for you. I can’t wait to meet little miss Brooklynn! May you enjoy the last few days of relaxation together before the real fun begins! And Sheree, I am sending you all kinds of smooth and speedy labor vibes! You will do great!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Daddy being goofy, and Mommy so relaxed and laughing. I love this shot!

{ Green }

74,75,76,77,78,79, & 80 /365

I bet you thought I gave up on this project, didn’t you? Actually I was AWOL with good reason. Well it’s not a good reason, but it’s a reason.

In honor of St. Patty’s day we decided that this week’s photo theme was to be the color green. Little did I know when it was decided that is exactly how the Henderson household would be feeling… GREEN, and it wasn’t with envy I can assure you that.  The stomach bug decided to pay us a visit. My poor little guy was miserable for 7 days. As I type this my baby girl is now having her run with it. I pray she does not get any worse than she is now, and that it passes much more quickly than Garrett’s did. This has been a lonnnng week. A. Very. Long. Week.

Smiles From the Heart:

Spring is here! Spring is here!!!! I am so happy that Winter is behind us. We celebrated the spring equinox with a day of fun outside.

Exploring Ft. Pickens. I can’t wait to do a session down there!

Putting our toes in the sugar white sand at the beach.

My kidlets coming to me right now saying “Momma look at us!” I turn around and there they stand, Avery wearing my bra like a parachute (I hope she has a back up plan, just sayin’), and Garrett with a pair of my underwear on the outside of his outfit. They erupted into a fit of giggles as soon as I saw them and ran off saying “Let’s play dress up again!” :)

Garrett busily drawing his “inventions”. He is incredible to watch and his interest and detail with these inventions and “plans” are amazing.

Avery and all of her cute little phrases.

Snuggle parties. Lots and lots of snuggle parties. My fave.

A funny picture sent from Arkansas.

Knowing our family will be a complete unit this weekend and all of next week! <3 I’m so excited I can hardly calm my tummy down! (I promise it’s not the stomach bug lol)

{ Pretty fingers }

73/365

“Momma, I painted my pretty fingernails!” It’s only marker (thank goodness!), but she was extremely proud of herself. Now they match her pretty toenails that MiMi painted sparkly red a couple of weeks ago . I am pretty convinced she selected the red marker on purpose. :D

Today’s Smiles From the Heart:

Springing forward… well initially I thought it was for the birds, but I might actually get a good nights rest tonight.

Garrett’s ability to still play even though he is sick with the stomach bug. There is NO WAY I could pull that off. He is amazing, bless his little heart.

Getting a great deal on a pair of shoes.

Fresh Scones for breakfast.

My little shopping buddy, Avery. She did well today.

As I type this I am smiling through clenched teeth. Really praying that the feeling in the pit of my stomach is not what I fear… I don’t have time to be sick.

{ Jumping Beans }

70/365 & 71/365

Yesterday Avery’s school held their preschool Olympics. Avery’s class represented Team Canada. It was an adorable display of two year olds competing in events such as frisbee toss, sack races, and long jump. Have you ever seen two year olds jump? It’s the cutest thing ever. They are still trying to master that skill, and it’s a huge one. I love it when out of nowhere Avery starts practicing her jump. I often wonder the thought process that lead up to this. Oh to be two again…

Avery with her medal:

Avery’s friend Addison putting on her game face before the sack races:

Today’s Smiles From the Heart:

The gorgeous sun.

Getting my cell phone fixed. Hooray!!!

“Moon and Back” wars with my babies.

Knowing that no matter the issue, my neighbors will be there. We had a little fright last night and all I can say is thank goodness for great neighbors!!

Going to bed with a sparkling clean kitchen sink.
