This was my first official engagement session, and it will probably always be the most memorable. Not only was this my first e-session, but it also held another first for me– a speeding ticket. (I still think I was trapped). We were on our way down along the beach and they had reduced the speed along the protected areas of the road due to the annual Shore bird nesting. Just my luck! I somehow missed seeing a huge orange electronic warning sign regarding this.So my ticket wasn’t actually written up for speeding (thank you officer!) but I did get a ticket for violating that big flashing sign. Ok, so it was my fault… mostly.
We had a blast shooting down at Ft. Pickens. I have been longing to shoot there for quite some time. As soon as I mentioned it to Brittany she was on board! In fact, both Josh and Brittany were on board for just about any idea I had. Such a FUN couple, and they are down right beautiful as well. I am so happy that they talked me in to being their wedding photographer. They were very convincing and I am honored that they felt strongly enough to put their faith in me with such precious memories! (stay tuned for wedding pics!!)
Josh and Brittany, I am so full of gratitude! The love you share is so natural, and so evident in the way you look at one another. Thank you for being so fabulous in front of the camera! You guys are incredibly fun, and I can’t imagine two better people to share in the moment as I handed over my license and registration.XOXO
A stunning shot of the bride to be!
There is a story behind this next shot. Just to the bottom right of this sand dune in the parking lot stood a yellow porta potty. Josh, Brittany, and I all shared a good laugh at the “Pot-O-Gold” at the end of the rainbow.
We may or may- not have broken a few rules for this next shot. (If we got caught I totally was going to walk off and pretend I didn’t know them.) All kidding aside, I’d say it was well worth the risk!
