{ Halloween Memories }

I can’t believe that already this post is nearly a week over due! I am in awe that here we sit in NOVEMBER already. Where has this year gone? Were we not just ringing in the new year? And now we are gearing up to ring in another. In awe… simply in awe.

This is my first post from our new home in Arkansas. (Which is an entire post of it’s own and I will get to that at a future date!) We are settling in nicely and Arkansas is treating us well, although it was only 27° here last night. My flip flop lovin’ toes live by the motto “If you are not barefoot, you are overdressed.” Let’s just say that they think this whole cold weather is for the birds.;)

Here is just a glimpse into the festivities of last weekend! My Belle and Darth Vader were quite the trick-or-treaters and we now have more candy than we know what to do with. But the best treat of all was the one they gave to me. That treat was not edible by any means. Instead I sat listening to these two little blessings do what my brother Gabe and I used to do as children– sorting through their candy, counting how many of each type they got, and trading each other for their favorites! Who knew something like that would bring back so many memories! So many wonderful memories! A true treat indeed! <3

Pumpkin Guts:

That tongue sticking out while concentrating is an inherited trait (my side of the family tree) and as you can see Avery was concentrating hard:

“Luke, I am your father.”:

Belle. Love the pouting picture. Acting like a princess for sure!:

Smiles from the heart:

Two excited kidlets enjoying their new costumes.

Fun with new friends!

The treat of special memories through my children.

The hints of fall foliage all around us. We definitely have some pretty colors up here that we didn’t have much of in FL!

Entering a month full of giving thanks and counting my blessings!

The daily blessings of tiny moments within our family. <3

Jeannine - Love the fact that you got both of those kiddos to model so cute. Avery looks so grown up. Gone are those baby years. Makes me want to cry. Love the pics Sarah. Rich and full of fall color. Love it. Miss you guys.

Mrs. McFadden - So cute. I was slacking with photos of the boys in their costumes. I might have to recreate Halloween, you have inspired me. <3
